Our 7-Day Excursion includes Peru domestic travel from Lima to Cusco, followed by return travel to Lima for you return home.
During this extraordinary adventure you will:

Following your visit to Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley, you will travel into the Amazon basin area of Iquitos and spend the remainder of our trek at a lush and exquisite yoga retreat, Casa Amazonas.
While in the heart of the jungle you will enjoy delicious and nutritious meals, experience a river boat tour, participate in an ancient healing ceremony, unwind and nurture your body with exquisite local food, yoga sessions offered by Colby Smith and a final Soulful Breathwork session to mark the end of this journey together.

Inspiration for Mystic Peru
I fell in love with Peru when I last took a group there a few years ago ... so much so that I have decided to take another group back in 2020!
The center piece, of course, was and will be Machu Picchu, one of the new seven wonders of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The interplay of rising sun, mountains, clouds and early morning mists is one of the most magical and mystical things I have ever witnessed.
In his book "Lost City of the Incas," Hiram Bingham, who rediscovered Machu Picchu, wrote: “In the variety of its charms and the power of its spell, I know of no place in the world which can compare with it. Not only has it great snow peaks looming above the clouds more than two miles overhead, gigantic precipices of many-colored granite rising sheer for thousands of feet above the foaming, glistening, roaring rapids; it has also, in striking contrast, orchids and tree ferns, the delectable beauty of luxurious vegetation, and the mysterious witchery of the jungle.”
And yet Peru has much more to offer with other ancient Inca sites that are also fascinating and culturally important. Cusco, nestled into the Andean mountains, is charming and quaint. The cuisine throughout Peru is delicious and the people friendly and welcoming.
This year we are adding an optional three-day excursion to a new eco-resort, Casa Amazonas, in the Amazon Basin area of Iquitos.

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
We are not able to offer payment plans for this trek.
Only shared accommodations are available. We will do our best to partner you with a room mate of your choosing.
If available, please provide us with the name of your travel companion at the time of registration.
A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot. Payment must be complete within 60 days following.
Because of the hiking and uneven terrain, this trek is not well suited for those with limited mobility.
Coltur Peru, our tour guide or Soulful Power cannot offer refunds or cancellations less than 31 days prior to the trek.
For this reason we recommend that you purchase travel insurance for the duration of your trip.
Alliance and Travel Guard offer short-term travel insurance.
You must have a valid passport with an expiration date at least 6 months beyond the date of September 21, 2020.
No visas or vaccines are required for our trek.
What is not included in the trek: International airfare, travel insurance, tips for guides and waiters,
expenses of personal nature, and meals not covered under the trek itinerary.
